Mike Tyson's return to the ring after nearly 20 years has been heralded as a legendary showdown. Instead, it turned into a personal sparring session for Jake Paul, with Tyson admitting he couldn't even remember most of the eight-round spectacle.

“I don't remember the fight much, I kind of passed out,” Tyson said. Fox Sports Radio. “I didn't watch the fight. You know what I remember? When I came back from the first round and Jake was doing some kind of crouch…that's the last thing I remember. So, Tyson's tip wasn't Jake's punches, it was his interpretive dance routine. Iconic.”

Jake Paul, the gallant athlete, later admitted that he got along easy with the 58-year-old legend. “Yes, absolutely. Definitely a little bit,” Paul said. “I wanted to put on a show for the fans, but I didn’t want to hurt someone who didn’t need to be hurt.” Oh, the YouTuber-turned-fighter’s restraint, sparing Tyson the wrath of his groups on a level TikTok.

Meanwhile, Tyson shrugged off the loss with the calm of a man who has seen it all. “I wasn't tired, and I wasn't sweating. I went home with my wife and kids, went to the after party, and came back. Translation: Jake may have won on points, but Tyson's real victory was at the buffet table at the after party.

The fight wasn't Tyson's only struggle. He revealed that he almost died due to an ulcer that broke out before the match. But hey, what's a little life-threatening when there's an eight-round circus to perform in?

“This is one of those situations where you lose but you still win,” Tyson said. And he's not wrong — because if Jake Paul has to brag about running back to a 58-year-old, who's really going to take the L here?
