Kylian Mbappe scored his fourth goal in four appearances with a long-range shot to put Real Madrid on course for a 4-2 win over visiting Sevilla in the Spanish League on Sunday.
Mbappe, Real Madrid's top scorer, who also scored the goal in the 3-0 victory over Pachuca in the Intercontinental Cup in Qatar on Wednesday, fired a goal into space from a central position outside the penalty area 10 minutes later, scoring a powerful strike past goalkeeper Alvaro. Fernandez.
The French forward missed his side's 3-3 draw with Rayo Vallecano with a thigh injury eight days ago, but returned to score a memorable 13th goal in 23 appearances in all competitions in 2024/25.

Madrid vs Sevilla
Mbappe, who joined during the summer, could have scored the second goal seven minutes later, sending a shot over the crossbar from a Lucas Vazquez cross.
Federico Valverde made up for that miss with a brilliant finish in the 20th minute, collecting the ball in a similar position to Mbappe's goal and slotting the ball home from a short corner kick.
Rodrygo added a relatively ordinary third goal for Real Madrid 11 minutes before half-time, completing a brilliant team move involving Jude Bellingham, Vazquez and Brahim Diaz.
Sevilla put this goal away with a goal of their own a minute later when Izak Romero headed home from a Juanlo Sanchez pass, but Diaz scored Real Madrid's fourth goal from a Mbappe pass eight minutes after the end of the first half.
Dodi Lukebakio responded for Sevilla five minutes from time, beating Thibaut Courtois with a shot at the Real Madrid goalkeeper's near post five minutes from time.
