Manchester United have reportedly discussed the upset Possibility of selling star player Marcus Rashford For reasons of financial fair play.

It's been a tough year or so for Rashfordwhose form has fallen well below what we all know he is capable of, and this may not be the worst time to consider accepting offers for the England international.

According to Florian Plettenberg on X, formerly Twitter, it appears that the Red Devils would not rule out letting Rashford leave as it could give them more freedom in the market.

However, there is an acknowledgment that we are seeing some signs of improvement in Rashford's form under new coach Ruben Amorim, so it will be interesting to see how that plays out…

Selling Rashford would certainly be risky, as he is good enough to go on and promote other top clubs, in the Premier League or elsewhere.

Even if there are some MUFC fans who are not happy with the 27-year-old's form at the moment, there will certainly be hell to pay for club bosses if they agree to sell the home-grown talent. He continues to rediscover his best form elsewhere.

For Rashford personally, it would seem he would benefit from a change of scenery after various problems during his time at Old Trafford.

Although Rashford grew up in United's academy and it is certainly a dream come true for him to play for his boyhood club, it cannot be denied that it has not been a happy place to be for some time now.

United have changed managers too often and spent too much money on too many failures, while their stadium is literally falling apart at some points.

Rashford may be struggling to find the same drive he once had, and perhaps it's time for him to try something different to get his career back on track.
