Manchester United have begun searching for new goalkeepers, with Andre Onana and Altay Binder both fighting for their futures, a report has revealed.
Onana has been a regular for United since his £47.2m move from Ajax in the summer of 2023. His tenure has seen many outstanding performances but also a large number of individual errors, especially since the arrival of new coach Ruben Amorim.
Cameroon international deputy Bender failed to impress in his stead. Chances were limited but an error-strewn performance in the Carabao Cup defeat to Tottenham Hotspur did not help his cause.
Telegraph state united Officials have begun evaluating their options in goal, with 22-year-old Royal Antwerp goalkeeper Signe Lammens making his way onto the radar.
Lammens is highly rated across Europe, with Borussia Dortmund said to be keen on signing him as well.
United are not believed to be in desperate need of signing a new goalkeeper immediately, with the left-back remaining a top priority Paris Saint-Germain goal Nuno Mendes – But things may change if Bender chooses to leave for the first football team.
Even if Bender leaves, United may not be in a rush to sign a new goalkeeper, with 38-year-old Tom Heaton also at Old Trafford.
