The transfer news does not stop there for Amorim, as reported by Fabrizio Romano Manchester United have held talks over signing Nene Dorgelis From Red Bull Salzburg, and this move could happen this month.
The 22-year-old has been on the Austrian side's books since January 2021, when he joined from Malian club Gedars FC. Dorgelis enjoyed a few loan spells during his time with Salzburg, most recently a season-long loan deal at Belgian side KVC Westerlo, where he scored eight goals and provided four assists in 29 J-League appearances.
Since then, he has become a key player for Salzburg, scoring a lot of goals and providing many chances for his teammates. His performances in Austria and Europe have now caught the attention of United, who are monitoring the striker after adding him to their list of targets.
Romano stated that a move for Dorgelis could happen either this month or in the summer transfer window, but either way, talks have been held to understand the price and package to conclude the deal.
