Manchester City has strengthened its defensive ranks by signing 19-year-old Brazilian defender Vitor Reis from Palmeiras.
The club have completed a £29.6m deal for the promising young talent, who has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract.
Reis, a right-footed defender, made 22 appearances for Palmeiras and represented Brazil at U-17 level.
“This is a dream come true,” Reece said. “Since I was a little kid I always dreamed of an opportunity like this and playing for a big club like City.”
“Manchester City’s size, history and structure. When there was a knock on the door and it was Manchester City, I knew there was nowhere else to go.

“I am a very passionate athlete, with a great will to win.
He added: “So you can all be sure that I will leave and give everything I can on the pitch.
“I have a lot of desire and determination and I am a player who loves challenges, headers and good passes.
“City like to play with a lot of possession, and I also like to play that way.
“City showed that confidence in me when they decided to sign me and that gives me a lot of confidence.”
City's Premier League title defense has been derailed by injury problems this season, particularly in defence.
The club has already signed Uzbekistan defender Abdulkader Khosanov in this window and is said to be seeking to sign Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush before the transfer window closes.
