Magic Johnson reveals the secret to feeling great after turning 65

After celebrating his 65th birthday… Magic Johnson Proves that age is just a number.

In an exclusive interview with Us Weeklythe NBA Hall of Famer — who turned 65 in August — explained how his appreciation for the system made him laugh in Father Time's face.

“We hold each other accountable for completing our workouts, as well as eating healthy and staying as active as possible,” he explained. “Even when we're on vacation, we still prioritize our fitness regime – it's ingrained in our lifestyle.”

The Magic & Cookie accountability likely came about when the couple took a several-week pre-Christmas trip around Italy and Croatia, where they both It has been widely documented on social media.

The former Lakers legend also explained how the dedication to health and wellness has turned into an entire family affair that is passed down to their children: the stepchildren Andrei43 y E.J32 years old, and his daughter Elissa29.

“Everyone's path is different when it comes to fitness and healthy eating, and that's what happened with our kids,” Magic explained. “Cookies and I encouraged our kids to exercise and be active, but they fell in love with exercising and eating healthy on their own time. It takes incredible discipline, focus, and motivation to want to exercise every day.”

Now, Magic is helping to pass that knowledge and passion on to the younger generation through his investment company. Magic Johnson Enterprises. “I love that they provide a great workout and can be used indoors and outdoors,” Magic said. “That's the great thing about F45 Fit Kits – they help us get back to functional movements. Using jump rope, cones and agility ladders, we give kids the opportunity to be creative when it comes to practicing the fitness routines that work best for them – no matter their level or where they are.” They may have to exercise in it.
