Luke Littler has told fans he is ready and fresh to take on Ian White in the third round of the PDC World Darts Championship on Saturday.
In a blog post hours before his return to action after a week-long break, Littler described his Christmas celebrations as “high quality.”
“Now it's time to get back into it,” added the 17-year-old, who is the bookies' favorite for the title behind defending champion Luke Humphries.

After becoming the first darts player to cross 1 million followers on Instagram, Littler now has more than 1.4 million fans on the platform.
The sporting sensation posted a photo of himself taking part in a special edition of the popular darts TV show Bullseye on Tuesday.
To promote the episode, which aired on Christmas Day, Littler featured himself on screen alongside former England cricketer Freddie Flintoff.
“There can never be enough darts on TV, that's for sure,” he said. “I loved being part of the Bullseye Christmas special… Merry Christmas everyone.”
What time do Luke Littler and Ian White face off?
Littler's clash with Whyte, who is a heavy underdog, is expected to start after 9.30pm GMT on Saturday 28 December 2024.
The 54-year-old world number 57 claimed he regularly beat Littler's grandfather, Phil, during his early days in the sport in Runcorn, where Littler was born.
Chris Dube, ranked 15th in the world, faces an opponent three places behind him, Josh Rock, in the first match of the evening tournament at Alexandra Palace in London, which begins at 7pm.
Three-time champion Michael van Gerwen takes pole position just before Littler and White meet Brendan Dolan.
Littler defeated his English compatriot Ryan Mikel 3-1 on December 21 to reach this stage of the tournament.
