Liverpool need to sign a good left-back, especially with the way Andrew Robertson has performed this year. The Scotland international has been a key player for Liverpool over the years, but is showing signs of decline and his performances have been somewhat disappointing this season.

Replacing him with a quality player should be their priority now. Liverpool is competing for the league title and is at the top of the league table. They will want to stay there until the end of the season and they need quality players in order to do that.

It remains to be seen whether they can negotiate a deal with Fulham for the American international. Robinson is a reliable defender who is also impressive offensively. The 27-year-old has provided six assists for Fulham this season and is likely to improve when playing in a better team like Liverpool.

On paper, he seems to be the perfect fit for Arne Slott's playing style and the opportunity of a move to Anfield would be attractive to the player as well. It will be a big step in his career and he will showcase his abilities in the Champions League as well.
