Arsenal travel to Brighton hoping to close the gap on Premier League leaders Liverpool late on Saturday.
The Gunners visit the Amex Stadium knowing a win would take them to within three points of the high-flying Reds.
But Liverpool has a game in hand but hosts its fierce rival, Manchester United, on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Brighton are looking to recapture their early season form which saw them lose just once in their opening eight league games.
Under new coach Fabian Hurzeler, the Seagulls are winless in their last seven league games, although the Seagulls have lost just twice during that run.
Horzler's side have only tasted defeat once at home in the league this season and will therefore be looking to gain something from the competition.

The home side made three changes to the lineup that drew with Aston Villa five days ago.
Joel Veltman and Pervis Estopinan come in for Tariq Lamptey and captain Louis Dunk, while Julio Enciso makes way for Matt O'Reilly.
Joao Pedro continues to lead the line for the Seagulls while Danny Welbeck remains sidelined through injury.

Mikel Arteta also made three changes for the Gunners' trip to the south coast. Declan Rice returns to the starting lineup, while England national team player Jorginho participates in midfield instead of Martin Odegaard, who sits on the bench.
Thomas Partey will play at right-back in place of the suspended Jurian Temper, while Leandro Trossard will start against his former club.
Gabriel Martinelli could make his 200th appearance for Arsenal if he comes on as a substitute, while Gabriel is playing in his 15th Premier League match.
Kai Havertz is still absent due to illness.
