Lily-Rose Depp is still terrified after watching one of her father's most famous films.

The Tim Burton-directed film was released in 1990 and focuses on the life of an imperfect human, Edward (Johnny Depp), whose scissor blades make it difficult for him to fit into suburban life.

“I was shocked by that,” Depp said. Harper's Bazaar. “Not because I thought he was scary, but because everyone was so mean to him, and I was really upset. I remember being terrified by it, which is weird, because I don't have a lot of memories of when I was young.”

She added: “It's a difficult childhood memory. Edward is the good guy and Nosferatu is the bad guy, but there's a part of me that feels a little sympathetic towards Nosferatu. I mean, am I sick that I feel this way?”
“I remember being terrified by it, which is weird, because I don't have a lot of memories of when I was young.”
Depp plays Ellen Hutter in Robert Eggers' remake of “Nosferatu,” based on Bram Stoker's 1897 novel “Dracula.” Ellen has a psychic connection to the vampire Nosferatu.
When asked if Lily-Rose and her father – who long worked with Tim Burton in the supernatural scene – shared an affinity for the genre, the model admitted that there is a comfort in goth culture.

“Sure, I guess you could say that,” Depp said. “We're very different actors, but of course you're a product of your environment, which is a world I've always been very interested in.”
Depp has worked in the entertainment and modeling industry for many years and has long denied her child's condition.
“Every job comes with a set of circumstances, and this (fame) is one of them,” Depp said recently. Daily Telegraph. “The importance to me was to maintain a sense of privacy and earthiness and protect (what) is truly yours.”
She added: “People are interested in things that they shouldn't necessarily be interested in and…an actor's job is to get into a character, melt into it, and make the audience believe you are that character.

“In order to do this, it's important to protect the feeling of anonymity. They're not supposed to know you well, because you want them to believe you as other characters.”
Depp starred in a number of films, including “Crisis,” “Voyagers,” “Silent Night,” and “Wolf.” Last year, I chaired HBO series “Idol” Along with Abel Tesfaye, better known as singer The Weeknd.

“The Internet seems to care a lot about this kind of stuff,” she said. “People will have preconceived notions about you or how you got to this level, and I can definitely say that nothing will get you the role except for being right in the role.
“The Internet cares a lot more about your family than people forcing things on you. You may get your foot in the door, but it's still just your foot in the door. There's a lot of work that comes after that.”
