Tokyo, January 27, 2025–(JCN Newswire)–Tokyo Anime Station is an anime exhibition site focusing on Japanese anime content, which has developed a devout fan base even outside of Japan. It regularly hosts special exhibitions of popular anime, attracting more than 130,000 visitors annually (as of January 2025), children and adults alike, from Japan and abroad.

From February 8 to May 6, it will host a special exhibition of the TV anime “Oshi No Ko”, which is immensely popular among Japanese and foreign audiences.

“Oshi no Ko,” created by the Dream Team of AKA Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari, is a popular anime that uses a new approach to highlight the entertainment industry. It tells the story of the fateful encounter between a young doctor and his favorite idol, AI, an idol in the group B-Komachi. Launched in April 2023, it has drawn significant attention not only for its story but also its music, and last year generated even more buzz with the announcement of a third season.

Exhibits in this special exhibition will include key scenes covering the anime's story, life-sized character panels, photo spots, and a video that allows exhibition attendees to experience what it would be like to see a live performance of B-Komachi, The Idol Group from the anime, and more.

Let's get together!! Anime History Series “Oshi no Ko”

The first season of the TV anime “Oshi No Ko” began broadcasting in April 2023, followed by the second season in July 2024, and has become popular all over the world. Production for Season 3 has now been announced. In this exhibition, visitors will be able to experience the world of “Oshi no Ko” and the appeal of other idols and characters appearing in this anime, which has created such a buzz.
