Davis added that she confronted the man, which did not help her situation.
“I remember going to his apartment and knocking on the door,” Davis said on the podcast. “And his dog was there, and I love his dog, and I could hear his dog's voice. But I wondered: Is he there and pretending he's not there?”
While Davis was not greeted at the door, she later received a phone call from the man, who asked her if she was the one who knocked on his door.
“I was like, ‘Well, yeah,’” Davis said. “I felt so embarrassed, like I was a mess. I would just like to get some recognition or something, which is kind of a fantasy.”
Not focusing on the drama. Reflecting further on the ordeal, Davis called her decision a “terrible mistake” before urging her listeners to avoid repeating her actions. “Don't do that,” Davis said. “It doesn't end well.”
