The 44-year-old actress recently collaborated with a social media personality Tommy Marcusknown as Quentin Quartino, to donate thousands of dollars to people struggling to pay their medical bills. In the DM screenshots shared by Marcus Via Instagram On Monday, December 30, Marcus reached out to Bill about helping him raise money for one health-related GoFundMe page a day.
Bell was game for the idea and later met the remainder of the GoFundMe page's fundraising goal. “We need to do more things like this, the world needs it 💕,” she wrote in a direct message.
In another message, Bill asked: “How can I give 100,000 to people who need it for medical bills? I want to make sure we do it in the best way, how do we do it??
Marcus responded by suggesting that for every fundraiser he posted on his page, Bill could “close it” once it reached its average goal. “For example, the next project needs to raise about $50,000, so once it hits $25,000 followers, you donate $25,000 and we move on to the next?” he asked.
Bill responded excitedly, “Yes!! Tommy let's do it!”
According to one GoFundMe page Bill shared on Marcus's profile that he donated $20,932 to help a third-grader named Mia fight leukemia, helping the fundraiser exceed its goal of $50,000.
