During her appearance on “Call Her Daddy,” Perry told the host Alex Cooper Why did she and Bloom break up? In 2017.
“We haven't really been together since day one,” the singer admitted. “It was, in a way, because he had just gone through a period of celibacy and had set his intentions. I had just gotten out of a relationship and said to myself, 'I can't do this anymore.' I need to swim in a different pool.”
While Perry “has yet to do some real work” on herself, Bloom went to a spa for a week to “refresh all his bad habits.” When he returned, the duo wasn't on the same page.
“He went there, then came back and wasn't playing that cat-and-mouse game with me anymore,” Perry recalls. “And I was like, 'Okay.' I was used to this pushing and pulling. …I used to play games because it was a dopamine hit. “That was what I knew.”
Perry later decides to go to the resort herself, and finds that she then “speaks the same language” as Bloom.
“You changed my life, you saved my life,” she said.
Elsewhere in the interview, Perry said that nothing gets her going like Bloom doing housework.
“If you come downstairs and the kitchen is clean, you've done all the dishes and you've closed all the pantry doors, you better be ready to get your food sucked,” she joked. “that it My love language! I don't need a red Ferrari… I can buy a red Ferrari. Just do the king's dishes! I will suck your d-k! It's that easy!
