Justin Baldoni plans to “debunk” what his lawyer calls a “false” narrative created by Blake Lively Legal complaint against the actor.
The actor's impending lawsuit will share “the truth” after Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment leading up to the filming of the film adaptation with Colleen Hoover. “It ends with us.”
“This is not a response or a counterclaim, this is a deliberate pursuit of the truth,” Baldoni's attorney, Brian Friedman, said. People magazine.
Baldoni's lawyer said: “This lawsuit will reveal and expose the false and damaging narrative that was deliberately crafted by a reliable media outlet that relied on nefarious sources and neglected a comprehensive fact-checking process to ensure the authenticity of these texts.”
The statement continued: “There is an insurmountable body of real evidence, including timelines and communications, that has not been manipulated or linked without context, contrary to the amended (New York Times) story published on Saturday, December 21, 2024.”

The actress reportedly held an “all hands” meeting on January 4, 2024 regarding the alleged behavior of Baldoni and film producer Jamie Heath, which her husband, Ryan Reynolds, attended.
“Ms. Lively was forced to address concerns about Mr. Baldoni and Mr. Heath’s misconduct with them directly, and began doing so months before filming began,” the complaint obtained by Fox News Digital said. “The concerns she raised were not just about herself, but about other actresses and crew members, some of whom have also spoken out.”
Some of the alleged behavior discussed included no more videos or nude photos of women being shown to Lively, no longer any mention of Baldoni or Heath's past addiction to pornography, no longer discussions of personal experiences with sex, no more descriptions of their genitals, More added sex scenes outside of the original script, no more discussions about Blake's weight or his dead father, and more.

At that time, all parties agreed that the conduct would cease. Despite the agreement, Lively alleges in the complaint that Baldoni carried out and participated in a “social manipulation” campaign to destroy her career and reputation.
“I hope my legal action will help draw the curtain on these evil retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak out about misconduct and help protect others who may be targeted,” Lively said. New York Times In a statement.
Baldoni's attorney denied the allegations, saying, “These allegations are completely false, outrageous, and intentionally offensive with the intent to publicly hurt and reshape the narrative in the media.”
