“I don't know, man. I just do whatever it takes, go about my day, be where my feet are,” Wilson told reporters Thursday. “If they did (offer an extension)… that would be great.

Wilson added that he “loves the Jets…but I can't worry about all that. I'm just going to get these three games done. I can't look at all that right now.”

Wilson spoke to reporters just hours after a report that owner Woody Johnson canceled a trade for Jerry Jeudy due to Jeudy's rating in the video game Madden. It was previously reported that Johnson also wanted Aaron Rodgers to be benched after the team fell to 2-2, and former general Joe Douglas reportedly said his boss was acting like a “teenager.”

On the bright side, Aaron Rodgers He recently turned back the clock. He has thrown 13 touchdowns and just one interception in his last seven games. Maybe Rodgers and Wilson can build on that in 2025, if Rodgers stays.
