Is there anything? Jennifer Lopez I can't do? She can sing, act, dance, and cook, and she does it all in six-inch heels.
After spending the evening in what we can assume was a formal affair, Lopez returned to her home in Los Angeles on Sunday, December 8, for some late-night comfort food, as seen in a snapshot she posted to her account. Instagram.
She wore a black sequin dress and Femme LA stilettos as she made pasta with red sauce. “My favorite thing about going out is coming home for a midnight snack,” she wrote in the caption with a pasta emoji.
Lopez already looked like a snack full of diamonds, which included oversized earrings and a semi-blind ring on her right hand. She was camera-ready with an all-over look that included a smoky eye and defined cheekbones, while her hair was styled in big curls.
In another Instagram video Posted two hours ago, the “Waiting for Tonight” singer can be seen strutting down the hallway wearing the aforementioned dress, which features a sexy criss-cross neckline. She then turned the corner to reveal that the dress was completely backless before ending the clip with a shy hairstyle and a flash of her huge smile, all to the sound of Brandon O'Neal's “Believe in Yourself.”
The video received more than 150,000 likes in just 30 minutes, and sparked a flurry of comments from fans who praised her for bringing her signature magic from the kitchen.
One fan wrote: “We all ate on Sunday 🔥❤️,” while another added: “Show them how it's done. What a favor! 🔥.”
Just 72 hours ago, Lopez received the “Maverick” award. Unstoppable At the 2024 IndieWire Awards. The ceremony took place on Thursday, December 5, in Los Angeles, and the trio wore a similar sparkling silver dress with towering gold metallic Dolce & Gabbana platforms, naturally.
As Lopez revealed to Harper's Bazaar Last May, she opted to spend less time on red carpets and more time in the kitchen: “I love cooking. My kids love baking. I love hosting at home (for) family and friends… I love hosting people. I don't like to go out much.”
Back in 2022, I spoke to Vogue magazine About why she loves Christmas (“because it's so sparkly”) and how cooking is the holiday tradition she and her family look forward to most. (Lopez shares 16-year-old twins Emme and Max with her ex-husband Mark Anthony.)
“We cook the same food every year, which I love because I wait for this food all year,” she told the publication. “Bastilles and roses with gondolas and pernilles and all such specialties.”
And based on her latest Instagram account, she's not waiting until then to spice things up in the kitchen.
