Jenna Fischer She is celebrating a milestone moment after sharing her cancer diagnosis.
“Happy New Year! What a year it was 2024. “Yesterday was the one-year anniversary of my breast cancer surgery,” Fisher, 50, wrote via Instagram On Saturday, January 4th. “Spent the day in St. Louis surrounded by my family and spending a belated Christmas with grandparents and cousins after luxuriating at my favorite hotel ever @fsstlouis.”
She continued: “I mean…a comfy robe, coffee, a book, and this view!” (I've been looking forward to being their official ambassador for years. I won't give up until it happens 😂).
Fisher continued her message by providing fans with updates on her health. “I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and enter this new year refreshed and energized,” she wrote. “I have two more injections of Herceptin and then I'll have my port taken out!! Woot! The hair is growing back (slowly and violently, but it's growing).”
Fisher indicated that she is working to improve her physical health after receiving treatment. “And I’m training with @bodyfitbyamy to keep my body strong for the long term,” she concluded. “Sending you love and blessings for the new year!”

“If I had waited six months longer, things could have been much worse. It would have gone viral,” she wrote. “Seeing women posting pictures of their mammogram appointments on Instagram prompted me to make my own appointment (which I was late for). I'm so glad I did. Consider this a kick in the ass for getting it done.
