Here's a look at some of the stars who have remained committed to dropping the pounds this year.

Country music star Jelly Roll has continued his ongoing efforts to lose weight after admitting that he is addicted to food in the same way he was once addicted to drugs.

In the video, Jelly roll He was joined by his nutrition coach, Ian Larios, who helped him maintain good eating habits and stay active. Larios explained what the country music star did to lose weight.

“We had just passed the halfway point of the tour, and my generation was crushing it,” Larios said. “We either walk around the yard and play basketball or box. He just passed his 100-pound weight loss.”

Larios noted that Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason Bradley Deford, was focusing on a high-protein diet and shared some of the meals he prepared for the artist. One of Jelly Roll's favorite pre-show snacks is bananas with Manuka honey, stevia, and dark chocolate shavings.

Although Simpson first spoke about her weight loss in 2019, she made headlines in 2024 as fans commented on her appearance and their excitement for her new album.

Simpson previously showed off a new look in an Instagram post, where she shared a glamorous photo of herself sitting next to some music equipment while wearing a white romper with black fishnets and platform shoes.

Simpson has not released an album in 14 years, since her 2010 album, “Happy Birthday.”

One person in the comments described her as “Irresistible 2.0”, in reference to her 2001 hit, and another wrote: “You look like a beautiful queen.”

Others were less kind, questioning her appearance by writing comments such as: “I don't even know this person.”

But many defended the singer. “I don't understand why people feel the need to be so mean. She's talented, beautiful and doesn't give up on life. Lift people up, it's healthier,” one user wrote.

She addressed this speculation in an interview with Bustle last year.

“Oh God. I mean it's not that — it's willpower,” she told the outlet when asked if Ozempic was involved. “I wonder, do people want me to drink again? Because that's when I was the heaviest. Or do they want me to have another baby? My body can't do it.”

Simpson has been sober since 2017.

Kathy Bates has set the record straight after being accused of relying on Ozempic to shed weight after losing 100 pounds over seven years.

Bates, 76, admitted to using the medication but insisted on doing the work herself, mentally and physically.

In October, the Oscar-winning actress opened up about her weight-loss journey, noting that she lost 80 pounds before using Ozempic. She admitted that taking a weight-loss drug helped her lose an additional 20 pounds.

“There was a lot of talk that I was able to do this because of Ozempic,” Bates said. People magazine. “But I have to convince people that this has been hard work for me, especially during the pandemic. It's very hard to say you're done.”

The “Matlock” star was inspired to pay attention to her health after she was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2017.

“I ate because I was afraid, and I ate because it was a disservice to my self-esteem,” she said. “(Diabetes) runs in my family, and I saw what my father went through. He had his leg amputated. One of my sisters takes it very seriously, and it terrified me. It terrified me straight up.”

Her weight loss has been helpful in many ways, including symptoms of lymphedema, a condition that causes swelling in the body.

“It's been a huge benefit for me,” she says. “I'm lucky that I don't have to wear compression sleeves every day. It's exciting to be able to put my arms in a sweater and have it fit,” she told People magazine.

Tom Arnold

While many celebrities relied on Weight loss drug Ozempic To lose weight, Tom Arnold told Fox News Digital why he didn't do it, admitting he had “never heard” of the drug when he first started his health journey.

In January 2022, Arnold decided to make his health a priority after suffering a stroke. The 65-year-old actor began working with fitness expert and personal development coach Charles D'Angelo after they met at a charity event hosted by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The “Roseanne” alum has dropped from 285 pounds to 205 pounds since his health crisis.

In September, Arnold and D'Angelo spoke with Fox News Digital and the comedian admitted that he has “tried every diet” over the years.

“Like in 1992, me and Roseanne, and Oprah and John Goodman — there was something called Fen-Phen, and we were like, ‘This must be great, because you go to a doctor to get it.’ But we all lost 100 pounds, and then people started dying from Fen.” -Finn, then they pulled it from the market.

“But, I mean, there's a lot of things. You know, I'm sober, so I have to be careful about the things (I take) — even though Ozempic sounds great,” he added.

“I think a lot of people do, and I'm not opposed to anything like that. Whatever makes people healthy. But the exercise and cardio aspect is really good for my mental health and my sobriety,” he said. Arnold, who has been sober for seven years.

Dave Batista

Marvel actor Dave Bautista admitted in 2024 that he was “killing” himself to preserve himself Weight loss 75 lbs.

“I started losing weight because I just got fat,” he explained earlier onInsight with Chris Van Fleeton YouTube in September.

“Looking at it, maybe I overdid it. Maybe I was a little too big,” Bautista added. “I gained an uncomfortable amount of weight, and it took me forever to lose it.”

The Marvel actor admitted that the more he trimmed his hair, the better he felt.

“I also noticed that the cuter I cut the clothes, the better I looked on camera and the better I looked next to other actors. … Even at this weight … at 6'4” (and) 240 pounds, next to your typical actor, “I look like a gorilla, and it's distracting.”

He noted that his fans addressed concerns online about his dramatic weight loss.

“I'll probably lose a few more pounds. I'm basically killing myself to be in this shape. I mean, I'm training hard,” he said. “My calories are very restricted.”
