However, after reviewing the replay, it was clear that Shamim Hussain's bat was outside the crease and in the air while Jakir had just managed to plant his bat in time.

Later, West Indies were bowled out for just 109 runs inside 17 overs, thanks to Rashaad Hossain's three-wicket haul, as Bangladesh thrashed the hosts by 80 runs in the final over to sweep the T20I series 3-0.
