David Morrell says of the character “Mexican Monster” that David Benavidez is just a fake identity and that he is really “Fat little chicken.WBA light heavyweight champion “Regular” Morell (11-0, 9 KOs) promises to “knockout” Benavidez (29-0, 24 KOs) to expose him as a charlatan to the light of day.
Morrell vs. Benavidez headlines a 12-round fight in 15 days on February 1 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The event will be shown live on PBC on Prime Video PPV. Benavidez will hold the interim WBC 175-pound belt on the line which he recently captured against Oleksandr Gvozdyk on June 15 of last year.
The monster is fake?
This fight will show whether Benavidez is as good as he and his followers think he is or is fool's gold, Which gullible fans have been fooling all along. They want Benavidez to replace Canelo Alvarez so badly that they are not looking at him with open eyes to see that he has been fighting pork and eggs his entire career. Fans want Benavidez to be their new hero so badly that they are unwilling to acknowledge the flaws that exist and that he is not the real article.
“You're the king? I'm coming for you. Get out of here,” David Morrell said. PPV.comtalks about David Benavidez, who appeared on air like the top dog in the 175-pound division, yet had no reliable wins and looked terrible in his light heavyweight debut.
“I've got it all. Speed, power, defense, offense, legs that move. I've got it all. I don't know why people say he's 'the beast.' Boom. He's going down 100%. I promise you I'm “I'll fire him.”
“Mexican monster” Everything is fake. It's what we call in Cuba a “little chicken.” “Benavidez is not like me,” Morell said. “In Cuba, we'd take his lunch money. Fat kid like that. I don't want to say I'm a little poor kid, but I mean, man, it's different. This hunger that Cubans have. I dare say very few of them have that. I waited “This battle has been going on for a long time now, and it's even more dangerous.”
Fans who were mentally sober from watching Benavidez's last fight against 37-year-old Oleksandr Gvozdyk saw that he was not the fighter they thought he was. He worked hard in that battle, and was defeated in the second half.
Benavidez was injured in the 12th, which was fortunate it didn't happen earlier in the round because Gvozdyk was lighting him up like a candle. It was hard to watch.
Benavidez's excuses, since he blamed his terrible performance on hand injuries, didn't pass the laugh test. He wasn't the same guy now who was fighting where he should have been since the beginning of his career at 175 years old, and he couldn't handle facing someone his size.
Am I coming?
“I'm going in there, fighting for my life, and he's trying to take everything away from me,” David Benavidez said of Morell. “When I look at David Morrell, I think about his team, his dog, his cat, and everyone there.” My main job is to get rid of him, and that's exactly what I'll do.
What is Benavidez talking about? Why do Muriel's dog and cat mention? This seems like pure paranoia on his part to include his pets as part of his rationale for needing to hit him. I mean, “The Mexican Monster” faced the toughest opponent of his career, his first real test at his size, his younger age, and his greater strength.
Benavidez must show that he is real and not Just fake Who has transcended all these years by exhausting himself fighting in a weight class smaller than his massive frame and choosing mainly older guys. If he lost this fight to Morel, it would mean he was a fake, and his entire career was a sham.
