The Israeli Prime Minister's office said that Benjamin Netanyahu was invited to meet US President Donald Trump in the White House next week.

The visit is scheduled, after being confirmed by the Trump administration, on February 4.

The Netanyahu office said in a statement that the Israeli Prime Minister is the first foreign leader to be invited to the White House during the second period of Trump.

On Monday, while on board the first air plane, Trump said Netanyahu would travel to Washington to meet him “very soon”, without giving a specific date.

This meeting comes with a six -week ceasefire in Gaza after concluding a deal between Israel and Hamas to stop the war.

It will also come yet Trump said last week that he wanted to take Egypt and Jordan in the Palestinians From Gaza, after describing the tape as a “demolition site.”

Hamas and the Palestinian Authority condemned the proposal. Jordan and Egypt also rejected the idea.

However, the idea of encouraging Ghazan to move to neighboring countries has long been pushed by members of the extremist right in the Netanyahu government.

The ceasefire deal in January stopped the war that started when Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023, killing about 1,200 people and taking 251 to Gaza hostile.

The Hamas -running Ministry of Health in Gaza says more than 4,200 Palestinians, the majority of civilians, were killed in the subsequent Israel attack.
