Gautam Gambhir is facing a lot of criticism for India's poor outing in the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy
Many held coach Gautam Gambhir responsible for the loss in the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The tactics adopted by the India national cricket team were questionable and even the team selection was not impressive throughout the entire series.
The India National Cricket Team batsmen struggled to be consistent throughout the series. In the bowling department too, Jasprit Bumrah seemed to be the only one carrying the team as he was hardly supported in the phases when the team had a chance to gain momentum.
While India's performance throughout the series was poor, there was also some drama off the field. It is learned, according to reports, that head coach Gautam Gambhir wanted the team to play his way and asked the players to limit their natural playing tactics as well.
