Indian openers Smriti Mandhan and Pratika Rawal gave India Women a blistering start, adding 110 runs in 99 balls before the senior batsman was run out by Karishma Ramharak for 53 runs off 47 balls, studded with seven boundaries and two sixes against West Indies.
Pratika Rawal and Harleen Deol then combined for another 62-run partnership off 75 balls to pave the way for the powerful middle order before India's women's opener was departed by Zaida James for a stunning 76 runs off 86 balls, laced with a ten-ball knock. Limits and maximum one.
