1. Do not use upholstered furniture outside

In Boulder, avoid keeping any upholstered furniture outside. It's against the law.

According to Boulder General Crimes Section 5, Chapter 4, 5-4-16, individuals cannot keep “upholstered furniture not manufactured for outdoor use” in any front, side, or rear yard.

Upholstered furniture under the law includes sofas, chairs and mattresses.

If the furniture is placed outside while the resident is moving in or on trash day when it is scheduled to be picked up, it is not a violation of the law.

2. Don't plan to buy a car on Sunday

3. Keep weeds at bay

In Colorado, and more specifically Pueblo, residents must Keep weeds under control.
