Following his arrest, Flores was placed in immigration proceedings and granted a voluntary release by an immigration judge with the Department of Justice on December 19, 2024.

“Our immigration officers work tirelessly to locate undocumented and detained aliens in the Houston area who threaten public safety, national security and border security, and they will not rest until they return to their country of origin and no longer pose a threat to the community,” Bradford said.
