Fabian Horzler will continue to “trust the process” as he attempts to end Brighton's poor performance against Arsenal on Saturday.
The Seagulls fell to tenth place in the Premier League table after seven matches without a win, with their last victory over Bournemouth in November.
Horzler has made a great start after succeeding Roberto De Zerbe as Brighton coach, but has found life more difficult recently. However, he remains confident that better times are ahead.
He said: “I think you cannot compare situations in football because they are completely different, things happen for different reasons but in the end you have experience and this gives you help and guidance on how to act in these situations.” How to get back results.
“We're just trying to continue our work because we think we're on the right track, and we're capable of beating everyone. We've shown it in the last matches that despite the bad results, we've had some really good performances, and that's what I always say.” – Confidence in the process. “We are on the right track.”
“If we don't play hard and brave, we won't have a chance.”

A tough test against the brilliant Arsenal
A home game with an Arsenal side unbeaten since November 6 may not be the game Horzler would have chosen to start the new year, and the Texas-born coach admits his side will have to be at their best to upset Arsenal.
“(We need) to do our best at every stage of the match, continue to play bravely, and continue to play hard,” he added.
“This is what we showed in the last few matches, and of course the results were not good, but we showed a good performance and showed that we are capable of beating every team in this league.
“It's very important that we play with our identity. If we don't play with intensity we won't have a chance. If we don't play with courage we won't have a chance.”
“Those two things are the main thing and another part of the game is set-pieces. When you see how much threat they can be from set-pieces, we also have to take care of that.
Welbeck remains a worry for Herzler
Brighton will have Adam Webster available again while young midfielder Jack Henshilwood could also return to contention.
However, Horzler was unsure when Danny Welbeck would return.
“I can't say a clear schedule when he'll be back – it could be next week, it could be quick, but it could also be another two, three, four weeks – so we really have to go day by day.” He said.
He added: “He is not in any pain, which is a really good thing and he is back on the field, but then we have to go day by day and hope that he will be back soon.”
