Craig Perub, Toronto Maple Levis coach, has talked about the injury of John Tavares, who is now an IR reserve due to a problem with the lower body. Tafaris was placed on the infrared after its fall during training on Wednesday.
“The Maple Leafs F John Tavares team was placed on IR (the bottom of the body). F Fraser Minten from Toronto Marleise (AHL) was called,” Leafs PR tweeted on Thursday.
They tweeting a follow -up about his condition.
Leafs PR wrote: “F John Tavares was included as a week to another.”
Tafaris was a key player in the team Maple Levis This season, he scored 20 goals and made 22 in 44 games. He was important to victories, as he contributed 34 points in 26 victories. His absence will be tangible, but Perob believes that the team needs to go forward.
“Yes, they have announced from week to week,” Perob said on Thursday before the New Jersey Devils match (08:28). “So, yes, it is unfortunate in practice, as you know, it's just bad luck. But, as you know, this is the matter, and we have to go beyond that now.”
Perope also discussed Tavares's performance this season.

The Toronto Maple Levis team has 27-16-2 and the first in the Atlantic section with 56 points.
