Gwyneth Paltrow She reflected on what she “gave up” in 2024 and revealed her goals for next year.
On Sunday, the 52-year-old actress and Goop founder uploaded an Instagram post featuring a video and photo slideshow detailing everything she left behind over the past year and outlining her goals for 2025.
In the caption, Paltrow shared a clip from her Goop newsletter, writing: “My friend gave me a numerology reading, and I learned that I'm nine, which is the year of completions and endings. I had some very powerful lessons about completing certain things. I had a bunch of goodbyes This year, I had some discoveries that led to the end of things.

She continued: “The world of numerology put all of this into context for me, but this year was about learning to understand that it was a year of endings. And that sometimes those endings were really painful and came with great change and recalibration.”

“I have learned to loosen my grip on things and learn deeply how to let go. And to also understand that everything always happens to your greatest advantage, even if it is extremely uncomfortable.”

In the first photo, Paltrow is seen with her daughter, Apple Martin, 20, and son Moses Martin, 18, while having dinner together at a restaurant. Paltrow shares Apple and Moses with her ex-husband Chris Martin. She wrote in the picture: “The stage that everyone is experiencing Always under one roof.”

Paltrow then included a photo taken inside her home, noting that she left behind “our house.” In June, the Oscar-winning actress listed her six-bedroom home in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles for $29.99 million.

In her Instagram post, she shared another snapshot of the paintings with birds, flowers and butterflies, writing, “Some dear colleagues.”
In the fourth photo, the actress was seen lying on the floor next to her German Shepherd, Nero. She wrote on the photo, “Dog,” adding a broken heart emoji.
Paltrow then included a short clip of her backyard at night, writing, “Los Angeles.” Paltrow and her husband, Brad Falchuk, decided so Selling their house in Los Angeles Since her children moved and finished building their home in Montecito, California.

In a video of the floating clouds, Paltrow wrote that she was letting go of “some people who weren't right for me.”
In a photo of the fireplace, Paltrow noted that she was abandoning “the idea that I can correct misconceptions.” The last photo showed a countryside view, as she wrote that she was letting go of “self-limiting beliefs,” adding, “Well I’m still working on it.”

Paltrow then edited her post to show videos and photos showcasing her goals for the new year. She started with a video in which she is seen walking and wrote: “In 2025, I would like to…”
The actress attached a video of the fountain and wrote, “Indicator of freedom and expansion.” She then included a photo of herself in a sauna, explaining that her goal was to “feel better.”

“Keep having difficult conversations” was written over an image of a cliff overlooking the ocean. In a video of a bridge over the river, she wrote that she wanted to “constantly re-evaluate everything.”
Paltrow explained her goal of “looking at things in a new way (i.e. being aware of my biases)” with a photo of herself looking at a piece of fruit hanging from a tree.
