Nikki Glaser basked in her glory hosting the 2025 Golden Globe Awards with Howard Stern on Monday and revealed some of the jokes she left behind on the cutting room floor.

Glaser, 40, told Stern that “every joke was memorized” from her opening monologue, as she celebrated “The biggest night in Ozempic” Before making out with Ben Affleck and Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The comedian, most recently known for roasting Tom Brady, admitted she was afraid of “cancelling” some of the award show's scripted content and instead chose to tell Stern's jokes.

“I would be remiss if I didn't ask you about the jokes you cut from your monologue last night. I'm always curious about that process,” Stern said. “So, there were jokes that you liked, but you couldn't put them down or, for some reason, you avoided doing them. Do you have some examples?”

“Yes, I have plenty of examples, but feel free to cut me off at any time,” Glaser said.

“I've put together a little song list for you, because, yeah, some of these songs were in the writers' room. They'd come up and say, 'We can't say that on TV.' We can't say, 'This is on these people's faces.' So I'll say, 'Move it to the Stern file. We can do it in the Stern file.'”

The 57-year-old actress, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in Babygirl, had a joke about her that was deleted, according to Glaser. “We shot it for a promo, and they almost aired it on CBS, and then we felt like that would get me cancelled,” Glaser admitted.

“The Wild Robot is nominated tonight, and I mean it Nicole Kidman After two white wines.”

Glaser also admitted, “I wish we would have done it, but if she made a face…I think she would have been happy with it, but you never know.”

Baldwin, 66, was not in attendance at the 82nd Golden Globe Awards, but there was a joke about him that was also cut.

“Michael Keaton was so great in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.” and Alec Baldwin Unfortunately he didn't come back to play the ghost because he was too busy making it.”

Cage, a multiple Golden Globe winner, presented the award for Best Motion Picture – Musical/Comedy on Sunday and could have been on the receiving end of Glaser's jokes.

“Nicolas Cage is here tonight looking relaxed after a night's sleep in Elvis' coffin.”

“Nicolas Cage is here and so is the skeleton band following him while he plays jazz.”

Shepard, 50, joined wife Kristen Bell at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards and sidestepped a joke about the celebrity-filled podcast.

“The Golden Globes are the only show where you get to see the biggest stars in film and television coming together for the same goal: getting out here tonight before Dax Shepard asks them to do his podcast.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs

“This is the last time you'll all be in the same room together before Diddy's trial.”

Stern asked: “Why didn't you use that joke?”

“We mentioned Diddy again and it worked better and led us to other jokes. We only got one mention of Diddy,” Glaser said. “That's the thing you don't want to do because you're accusing the people in the room of being involved in that, and they might turn on you about that.”

“The murders are just in the building.”

Martin Short, Steve Martin and Selena Gomez were all nominated for Golden Globes at Sunday's ceremony. Martin and Short, as well as co-star Meryl Streep, could have been heckled, but the joke was left out of Glaser's monologue.

“Only Murders in the Building is amazing, and I think it's great that legends like Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Meryl Streep are still giving some of the best performances of their careers. It's so inspiring, and it also shows you that you're never too old.” You still need money, guys, please don’t fight Jake Paul, please don’t do it, why are you still working so hard at Tuah’s encryption scheme?”
