Empty scene
Fury has already made quite a bit of money, sitting like a king on top of an estimated fortune that exists 160 million dollars Lips. He doesn't need the extra dough that two matches against Joshua will bring him. Tyson might freeze AJ, Hearn and the fans just for the sake of it.
Joshua-Fury are seen as failures by the boxing public anyway, and it would be seen as greedy if they fought now. Fans would be excited to see this match if the fight happened a few years ago.
Now, they're two old British men, both super-rich beyond anyone's wildest dreams, looking to increase their vast fortune. J. Paul Getty-esque Riches.
“Tyson Fury is the fight he wants,” Eddie Hearn said. Sky Sports Boxing On Anthony Joshua wanting to fight Tyson Fury in 2025. “The real key in this is Tyson Fury. He is three weeks away from defeat. Maybe he's still upset, maybe he's still thinking about that defeat. We'll have to see if he wants to fight again, and if he wants to fight again, what else can Fury do?
Hearn looked like a worried ice cream vendor at the Ring Awards, talking about the Fury-Joshua fight. It would be better if Turki Al-Sheikh chose to make AJ and Tyson win this fight by insisting on fighting these fights first to show they still have it:
- Anthony Joshua vs. Martin Bacolli
- Tyson Fury vs. Daniel Dubois
If Joshua and Fury pass these tests, it would make sense for Turk to pull the trigger on this fight. At least fans can respect that.
