“A lot of people are going to be on Mark Andrews for the two-point conversion,” Sims said this week during an appearance on “Up & Adams” while playing a video of the failed two-point conversion.

Simms then praised the Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken To make the “perfect play call” as he continued to highlight Jackson's throw during the play in question.

So we can't be mad at Todd Monken,” Sims said. “What I'm saying is that Mark Andrews in today's meeting with Baltimore is going to get a negative grade for a touchdown, but also, Lamar Jackson's meeting with the quarterbacks coach and the offensive coordinator, he's going to get a negative grade for a touchdown. That was a late throw. He didn't throw it as hard as he normally throws it.” Then he threw it behind him with as much force as possible in order to land wide.”
