Fenerbahce are reportedly keen on signing Aston Villa striker Jaden Villogen during the January transfer window.
According to PhotomacThey want to sign the 22-year-old winger on loan and a move to Türkiye could be ideal for him too.
Philogene struggled to get regular playing time At Aston Villa, he started only two league matches this season. He needs more playing time at this stage of his career and the Turkish team may be able to give him that opportunity. He was highly rated in England before his move to Aston Villa and it will be interesting to see if he can regain his form and confidence.
Regular football in Türkiye can help him recover strongly. Jose Mourinho can get the best out of him.
Meanwhile, Aston Villa are well stocked in wide areas and it is unlikely they will be able to give him enough game time during the second half of the season. It would make sense for them to let the player leave on loan So he can continue his development with regular football.
Aston Villa needs to improve their team
Aston Villa is currently competing in the Champions League and hopes to secure European qualification for next season as well. It will be interesting to see if they can fill the holes in their squad during the January transfer window. Getting rid of some fringe players could help them bring in their own signings.
Aston Villa have looked very weak defensively and they should look to bring in a quality central defender. A reliable midfielder could be a good addition as well.
It remains to be seen how the situation develops. Philojin would certainly look to get his career back on track with regular football in Türkiye if the move is made.
If he can impress in Türkiye during the second half of the season, he may be able to secure a permanent exit from Aston Villa in the summer.
