(Reuters) – A South Korean Jeju Air passenger plane crashed while landing at Muan International Airport on Sunday, killing 179 people in the country's worst air disaster.
Below are the final minutes of Flight 7C2216 as provided by the South Korean Ministry of Transport and fire authorities.

8:54 a.m. – Moan Airport Air Traffic Control cleared the aircraft to land on Runway 01 oriented at 10 degrees east of north.
8:57 a.m. – Air traffic control issues a warning about “bird activity.”
8:59 a.m. – The pilot of Flight 7C2216 reported a bird strike, and declared an emergency “Mayday Mayday Mayday” and “Bird strike, bird strike, go around.”
9:00 AM – Flight 7C2216 begins a go-around and requests permission to land on Runway 19, which is located across from the airport's only runway.
9:01 AM – Air traffic control allows landing on runway 19.
9:02 a.m. – Flight 7C2216 touches down the runway at a point approximately 1,200 meters (1,312 yd) up from the 2,800-meter (3,062 yd) runway.
9:02:34 AM – Air Traffic Control alerts a “collision bell” to the airport fire rescue unit.
9:02:55 AM – The airport fire rescue unit completes the deployment of fire rescue equipment.
9:03 a.m. – Flight 7C2216 hit the bridge after overshooting the runway.
9:10 am – The Ministry of Transport receives a report from the airport authorities about the accident.
9:23 a.m. – A man is rescued and taken to a temporary medical facility.
9:38 AM – Moan Airport is closed.
9:50 am – Completion of rescuing a second person from inside the tail of the plane.
