Everton have sacked manager Sean Dyche after less than two years in charge after a five-match winless run that left the Toffees one point clear of the Premier League relegation zone.
Backroom staff Ian Wan, Steve Stone, Mark Howard and Billy Mercer have left with Daiichi in the first major decision made by the Friedkin Group since its takeover of the club on 19 December.
Lleyton Baines, coach of the under-18s, and captain Seamus Coleman took charge on an interim basis.

Everton was subjected to an eight-point deduction for breaching Premier League financial rules last season, but finished 14 points above the relegation zone.
Dyche repeatedly declined to say whether he expected to be responsible for Everton's move to the new 52,888-capacity stadium at Bramley Moor Dock next season.
A 1-0 defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday left them on three wins in their first 19 league games, with bottom club Southampton having won fewer games.
The Saints are also the only team to have scored fewer goals than Everton's tally of 15 in the Championship this season, five goals behind lowest scorers Ipswich Town.

Speaking on December 20, Dyche said the Toffees' new chief executive, Mark Watts, was “fully supportive” after a “very informal” meeting at the club's training ground.
Watts, who was appointed following the completion of the club's purchase from Farhad Moshiri, met Daichi and women's team manager Brian Sorensen, as well as other staff.
“Other than winning games – which all managers have to do – they have made it very clear that they have nothing but support for me,” Dyke said.
“It was about getting on with the form. They are fully supporting me, the staff and the team going forward… There is nothing but support and no second thoughts about anything else.
“I didn't say much about what I wanted. They were asking questions about what I had learned in my time and the general feeling of the club.
