“I definitely felt a huge responsibility coming into this project and playing Reba's daughter. Obviously I watched what I could and tried to prepare in that sense. “I definitely wanted to come in and try to bring some honor to her daughter’s character.”

“I always analyze the character I write,” Kenny continued. Sometimes I'll choose a zodiac sign for a character, as weird as that may seem. It gives me a little bit of perspective on this character. I chose Gracie as a Capricorn. “It felt like it made sense to her.”

“I miss working with all of them. It's always a sad and perhaps nostalgic feeling when you wrap up a show you've done for years because it probably won't be the exact same cast. Despite doing Conners (on ABC) gave me hope. “Meaning they literally brought back the entire crew from their original show from the '80s and '90s. But I've been really lucky to work with these amazing people who I've formed really strong bonds with. I'd love to be on set with any of them again.”
