With another dominant performance, Barkley became the ninth player to rush for 2,000 yards in a single season — and what's even more impressive is that he did so in 16 games.

The record, of course, will come in a Week 17 game, so its legitimacy is arguable.

Barkley said on Sunday that he will be fine whatever the decision.

“I came here to do something special. Breaking a record is special, but I want a banner up there. I think we all do,” Barkley said.

Barkley has 2,005 receiving yards on the season, averaging 125.3 yards per game. He has run for at least 100 yards in 11 games this season.
