Today, Barcelona underwent a difficult draw in the third round of the Spanish King's Cup, after it once again signed Barbastro.

The two teams met last season in the same stage, as Barcelona struggled to exploit its advantage before goals from Fermin Lopez, Rafinha and Robert Lewandowski gave it a 3-2 win.

The fourth-tier side are struggling in the league – sitting in 16th place in Group B of 18 teams – but recorded a 2-0 win over Guernica yesterday.

Midfielder Gavito said: “A repeat of last year! “We are very happy and will try to enjoy it again.”

Barbastro has already made one Catalan squad this year after beating Barcelona rivals Espanyol in the previous round.

Real Madrid will also face the Spanish Football Federation's second division team after being drawn at Deportivo Minera in the match that will be held at Cartagena.

Athletic Bilbao, which won the cup on penalties over Real Mallorca last season to end a 40-year drought, will play Logrones, which beat Girona in the previous round.

Atletico Madrid make the trip south to face Marbella while Valencia take on local rivals El Dens.
