Democratic strategist James Carville explained why he believes Vice President Kamala Harris lost the 2024 election with CNN host Michael Smerconish on Saturday.

There's a lot of misinformation and you can't correct it all.”

He also continued to blame voters' concerns about the Biden administration's handling of inflation and the crisis Southern border on misinformation, claiming that “people thought we had disruption on the border. People thought it was disruption in pricing and inflation. People's thinking was incorrect. I would argue that was a crime.”

As for the future, Carville offered three issues the Democratic Party should focus on in the upcoming election: “Let's try to codify Roe v. Wade, which has two-thirds support. It's all across the Democratic Party. They can't do it.
