“Coach Prime” had time Monday to call out “a lot of idiots” on social media who think they know where he wants his sons, Shedor and Shilo Sanders, to go. Play in the NFL.
Deion Sanders, head coach of the team Colorado Buffaloesposted his thoughts on X after seeing other social media users suggest teams he didn't specifically want Shedeur to play for.
Week 17 brought a big shake-up in the 2025 NFL Draft standings, as the New York Giants, holders of the No. 1 overall pick, shockingly beat the Indianapolis Colts to fall to fourth on the list.

If the season ends Monday, the New England Patriots will own the No. 1 overall pick after just taking Drake Maye No. 3 overall in April.
“There will be a lot of idiots out there who will say things that are completely untrue regarding where I would like ShedeurSanders and ShiloSanders to play in the NFL,” Sanders said on Twitter. “If I said that I would say it directly to the person who cares and not the attention seeker. I know @nflcommish personally!”
The significance of the NFL Draft conversation comes after Shedeur was spotted in custom Giants cleats before the Buffaloes' final game against BYU, a 36-14 loss in the Valero Alamo Bowl.
Deion Sanders is adamant that his son Shedor will be the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft
This came after a video clip of Chidiur on the training field went viral after he said: “We know where we are going, you will see them in the cleats later this week.”
Given that the Giants are in need of a franchise quarterback after Daniel Jones was cut midway through the season, Shedeur, considered a potential first overall pick in April, was among those linked to the team.
Those connections continued as Shedeur was spotted catching with rising Giants star Malik Nabers on the streets of New York City, where he was the first in town for his teammate. Travis HunterHeisman Trophy Ceremony.
But now, the Tennessee Titans, another team in need of a quarterback with Will Levis and Mason Rudolph not cementing that role, sit above the Titans in the draft order at No. 2 overall.
One could make an argument that the Cleveland Browns, holders of the third overall pick, could be after a quarterback even with Deshaun Watson signed for years to come.
As for Shilo, there are questions about whether the 6-foot, 195-pound defensive back will be drafted at all. He has strong tackling attributes, but his coverage skills are lacking in the eyes of experts.
But coach Prime made it clear he believes Scheder will be selected with the first overall pick, and even suggested he would step in if there wasn't the right structure in place in the organization drafting his son.

Time will tell if that comes to fruition — an Eli Manning situation, if you will — but the process has already begun for Shedor, Shilo and the rest of the NFL players who are no longer playing college games this season.
