Former England team-half Danny Kerr has revealed he will complete his 20th season at Harlequins by staying at the club for another year.
Kerr, 38, who joined Premier League club Gallagher from Leeds in 2006, retired from international rugby in March last year, but said he was not ready to hang up his boots just yet.
He told the BBC: “I'll be at Harlequins next season, and I'm not leaving – I love it so much, I can't give it up yet.”
“I hope a few Queens fans are happy with it.”
Kerr made a record 386th appearance for Harlequins in their recent 34-34 draw with Leicester at Allianz Stadium.
He added: “Maybe that match reminded me again how lucky I am, because I am lucky to still be playing this game that we love and to play for the club that I love.” “I won't give it up while I'm enjoying it.”
Kerr won two Premier League titles with the London club – in 2012 and 2021 – and a European Challenge Cup in 2011.
He became the sixth player to make 100 appearances for England in last year's Six Nations win over Ireland, and also made his 101st and final international appearance in their 33-31 defeat to France.
