Cristiano Ronaldo says the problem at Manchester United is not the coach, and hinted at wider issues related to the Glazer family.
United occupies 14th place in the English Premier League table after their defeat last night against Wolverhampton 2-0.
Ruben Amorim was brought in a month ago to replace Erik Ten Hag but results did not improve as the Portuguese took seven points from his first seven league matches.

In response to a question about the situation at Old Trafford, Ronaldo said during the Globe Soccer Awards ceremony: “The English Premier League is the most difficult league in the world.
“All teams are good, all teams fight, all teams run, all teams are strong. Football is different now. There are no easy matches anymore.
“I've been saying this for a year and a half, and I'll keep saying it: the problem isn't the coaches, it's like… I always give this example… it's like a fishbowl.
“If you have a fish in there and it's sick and you take it out and fix the problem and put it back in the aquarium, it will get sick again.
“Manchester United's problem is the same. The problem is not always the coach. It is much more than that.”
I'll adjust things – Ronaldo
Asked if he felt this was the situation currently, he added: “100 percent. If I were to become the owner of the club, I would clear things up and fix the bad things there.”
Although he did not say he would one day own Manchester United, Ronaldo did claim that he would follow in the footsteps of former Old Trafford hero David Beckham and own a major club at some point.
Asked if he had spoken to the Glazers, he said: “I'm still very young and I have a lot of plans and dreams ahead, but mark my words, I will be the owner of a big club for sure.”
