Victor Osimhen transfer: Arsenal are working on an ambitious late move
We're approaching the end of the January window now, but it looks like Arsenal may still have a surprise in store.
Football Insider reports that the north London giants have made initial contact, although it is not yet clear whether a deal could be reached midway through the season.
Arsenal fans will certainly be desperate to see such a big name heading to the Emirates Stadium, with Osimhen looking like a much-needed upgrade over Kai Havertz.
The Germany international performed well for Mikel Arteta's side last season, but he's not really a clean striker, and that may be starting to show now.
Arsenal have played good football this season, but they have often missed some really good chances, and someone like Osimhen would certainly be better at missing those chances.
Benjamin Sisko has also been linked with ArsenalBut it remains to be seen whether Osimhen might be a more realistic option late in January.
