Ruben Amorim can score a morale-boosting win in the Czech Republic tonight as his Manchester United side take on Viktoria Plzeň in the Europa League.

Amorim started brightly at Old Trafford but successive defeats to Arsenal and Nottingham Forest hampered his progress.

A 2-0 loss to the Emirates Stadium could be easily forgiven, especially so early in his tenure, but the manner of United's performance in the 3-2 loss to Forest on Saturday would have worried Amorim.

Both United and Plzeň enter tonight's match with nine points from five matches and are sitting on the sidelines of the automatic qualification positions.

Viktoria Plzen team news

Coach Miroslav Kubik made two changes to the team that won 2-1 over Karvina at the weekend.

Cado replaces Milan Havel and Daniel Fasolin replaces Erik Jirka. Matej Vydra, who has played for Watford, West Brom, Derby and Burnley among others, also starts for the home team.

Viktoria Plzen: Jedlicka, Kadu, Doue, Marković, Jemilka, Soare, Cerf, Kalvach, Fedra, Schulke, Fasolin

Amorim makes five changes to the team that lost to Forest.

Noussair Mazraoui, Terel Malasia, Casemiro, Joshua Zirkzee and Marcus Rashford came on for Lenny Euro, Alejandro Garnacho, Manuel Ugarte, Robi Maino and Rasmus Hoglund.

The moves will also mean a change in the role of Amad Diallo, who has been operating at right-back but will likely move forward to support Zirkzee.
