“We are extremely concerned that WWE Legend Melina has not responded amid the disturbing events unfolding in Los Angeles. If anyone sees or hears about her, please report her safely. Any information helps us,” A Matter of Pride Wrestling wrote on X's website. “.
The Cauliflower Alley Club added: “We are reading on If anyone cares about her safety, please share, thank you.”
Perez, 45, was born in Los Angeles.
She burst onto the WWE scene when she appeared on “Tough Enough” in 2002 in hopes of landing a spot on the roster. Although she did not win the spot, she later became a valet for the MNM team of Johnny Nitro and Joey Mercury.
She has had individual success where she has been WWE Women's Champion Three-time and two-time WWE Divas Champion.
Perez has also competed for the National Wrestling Alliance and Wrestling Alliance TNA Wrestling.
She wrestled from 2001 to 2021.
