Chloe Kelly completed a loan for the day of the deadline of Manchester City to Arsenal former club.
Kelly, the hero in the European Championship in 2022, had fallen badly in the blue half of Manchester and will now finish the 2024/25 campaign that wears red instead, and then her contract with City will end.
The 27 -year -old refused to pay attention to Brighton and Hof Albion to close her step, although Arsenal's late interest was a surprise after it appeared at the beginning that Manchester United would signed her. Kelly has a stable personal life in the northwest, but she was born and raised in the capital, where she joined the Arsenal Academy in its ranks as a young man and made her first appearance in the 17 -year -old team in 2015.
“Chloe is an exciting striker and will be a great addition to our team with the approaching of the second half of the season,” said Arsenal coach.
“It is direct and explosive, with a huge natural talent and ability. We all look forward to working with Chloe as Arsenal in the coming months.”
Kelly moved to social media on Wednesday evening to express her frustration with the situation that found herself in the city, which initially led to her desires to leave the club.
She said in this post: “As the euro is quickly approaching, this summer is huge and I want to be in a position that allows me to give him the best of my representation.”
“However, who can be dictated and I cannot join only four months of the football season is a major effect not only on my career through my mental well -being.”
The full back of Laura Winro joined Manchester City on loan from Arsenal.
