BEIJING (Reuters) – Chinese electric vehicle (EV) company Nio (NYSE:) on Sunday announced plans to launch Firefly vehicles in Europe in the first half of 2025.
Nio CEO William Lee said the company will work with local partners to sell and service Firefly in European markets.
Lee also said Nio will accelerate the construction of battery swap stations in Europe, with costs for those designed for Firefly EVs falling by a third compared to Nio-branded car stations.
