BEIJING (Reuters) – China's manufacturing activity grew for a third straight month in December but at a slower pace, an official factory survey showed on Tuesday, suggesting a new stimulus campaign is helping to support the world's second-largest economy.
The official Purchasing Managers' Index stood at 50.1 in December versus 50.3 in November, above the 50 level that separates growth from contraction but below the average forecast of 50.3 in a Reuters poll.
