China has accused the United States of providing “unfounded allegations” about its role in the Fintanel trade to justify the definitions of Chinese products.

The complaint was submitted to the World Trade Organization (WTO) one day after US President Donald Trump raised border taxes on Chinese goods by 10 %, a measure that he said aimed at addressing illegal drug flow.

In the deposit, China said that the measures were “discriminatory and fever” and ended the rules of global trade.

The conflict comes at a time caused by Trump's tariff plans – a tax he said he wants to see all foreign shipments in the country – causing uncertainty in the global trade scene.

Trump said the definitions will encourage companies to make their products in the United States, expressing their frequent concern about the volume of trade deficit.

But his actions against China – which he threatened to expand to other countries, including Canada, Mexico and Europe – have raised concerns about their impact on the economy, including in the United States, where companies respond to the inaccurate of commercial certainty by stopping investments or success in the new costs of customers.

American imports recorded their highest level in December, when companies responded to the threats of definitions and race to secure foreign games, mobile phones and computers.

The Ministry of Commerce said on Wednesday that the value of the goods brought to the United States jumped 4 % from November to 293.1 billion dollars, which is the highest since the records began in 1992.

The rise also contributed to the widest commercial deficit, or a gap, between exports and imports within almost two years.

The definitions also sparked political tension, including the revenge of China, who responded to Trump's move to the definitions of American goods and the fight against Google, among other measures.

The speed of China, its complaint to the World Trade Organization, is an indication of Beijing's willingness to battle.

On Wednesday, Bloomberg also stated that a country -anti -pregnancy organizer is preparing to conduct a possible investigation into Apple policies, application store fees, and hit the company's shares.

Trump's movements – which included a request for a transaction exempt from the due fees of less than 800 dollars – said a great “shock” for some companies, such as Shin and Timo, because it erodes the ability to provide very low prices, Mark Williams, chief economist in China in Capital Economics .

But he said he believed China in general that the effects of Trump's tariff will not be very harmful.

“For the wider Chinese economy, this is definitely controlled,” he said.

The World Trade Organization procedures give the United States and China 60 days to resolve their dispute through consultations, and at this stage, China has the right to request a ruling by a committee of judges.

But it is unclear how effective treatment.

The World Trade Organization Committee, which is still unable to work, is still unable to work, as the United States refuses to approve the appointment of new body judges.

The United States also ignored a previous discovery by the World Trade Organization that previous definitions on steel and aluminum that were imposed during the first period of Trump were against the rules.

China ranked as a boycott with the largest goods deficit in December, as it sent $ 25.3 billion to the United States more than it was purchased.

The European Union, a target of Trump's introductory threats, had the second largest gap.

On the contrary, the United States has a small surplus of $ 2.3 billion in merchandise trade with the United Kingdom.

In general, the trade deficit in the United States, including services, increased by 17 % last year to a total of 918.4 billion dollars, as imports increased faster than exports.

In December, the trade deficit in goods and services was $ 98.4 billion, the highest since March 2022.
